Making a greatly anticipated return to Los Angeles, Lionel Bringuier, former Resident Conductor of the LAPhil, conducts a richly engaging programme that includes Brahms’ Tragic Overture, Bruch’s Violin Concerto, and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8. The Philharmonic’s Principal Concertmaster Martin Chalifour is the featured soloist on the Bruch, one of the most popular works in the repertoire. All events take place at Walt Disney Concert Hall on March 22, 24 & 25.
