On June 7, Mr. Bringuier leads the TOZ, featuring cellist Thomas Grossenbacher and violist Michel Rouilly, in an afternoon program including Strauss’s Don Quixote Op. 35. The evening concert (June 7) features Mr. Grossenbacher, Mr. Rouilly, and previous Artist-in-Residence of the TOZ, pianist Yuja Wang. The audience will enjoy Strauss’ Don Quixote Op. 35, Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3, and Ravel’s stunning La valse.
The June 8 concert celebrates the orchestra’s 150th anniversary. Lionel and the TOZ will be joined by Yuja Wang, his long-time collaborator, in a performance at the Münsterhof Outdoor Theater. The concert features Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3, and Ravel’s La valse; the event is free and open to the public.
