On January 25 & 26 Lionel Bringuier takes the podium at the Grand Auditorium in Lisbon for two sold-out concerts with the Gulbenkian Orchestra and pianist Yuja Wang. Works performed will include Prokofiev’s fiery Piano Concerto No. 5 in G major, Op. 55 featuring Ms. Wang, and Rachmaninov’s ever-popular Symphony No. 2 in E minor, Op. 27. These events are featured as part of the Orchestra’s “Pianomania!” series, a highlight of the 2017/18 season.
