Lionel Bringuier makes his highly anticipated debut in Rome, June 4, 6 & 7 with the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and pianist Yuja Wang. The programme includes Kodály’s colorful Dances of Galánta; Ravel’s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand and Piano Concerto in G, featuring Ms. Wang as soloist; and Stravinsky’s thrilling Suite from The Firebird.

Mr. Bringuier and Ms. Wang have also collaborated on two acclaimed Deutsche Grammophone albums highlighting Ravel’s works, with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich: “Ravel” features the composer’s piano concerti in addition to Fauré’s Ballade (Amazon/iTunes) and their latest CD, “Ravel – Complete Orchestral Works” is now available for purchase (Amazon/iTunes).
