On 22nd and 23rd June, Lionel will close the 2011/2012 season of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León and bring to an end three extraordinary years as Music Director with this orchestra. The programme will consist of Beethoven’s magnificent op. 125; choral Symphony No. 9. Performers will include Lisa Milne (soprano), Elena Zhidkova (mezzo soprano), Steve Davislim (tenor), Reinhard Hagen (bass), and Igor Jurra leading the Orfeón Pamplonés.
