Debut with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra

Lionel Bringuier conducts the West Australian Symphony Orchestra for the first time on November 15 & 16 at Perth Concert Hall in a magnificent program featuring Saint-Saens’ Organ Symphony. Marking his third orchestral debut of the season, Bringuier will begin the program leading the ensemble in Rimsky-Korsakov’s famous arrangement of Mussorgsky’s powerful tone poem Night on Bald Mountain.

The second half of the program features pianist Alexander Gavrylyuk interpreting Prokofiev’s brilliant first Piano Concerto and concludes with Saint Saens’ grandly romantic Third Symphony, known as his Organ Symphony, heard on Perth Concert Hall’s spectacular 3000-pipe organ.
