Lionel Bringuier leads the Camerata Salzburg in concert on August 12 for the Salzburg Festival, at the Haus für Mozart. Lionel is making his Salzburg Festival debut in this performance, with pianist Yuja Wang, who also makes her first appearance at the Festival. Ms. Wang is the soloist on Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major, on a programme that also includes Ravel’s Ma more l’oye (Mother Goose) Suite and Kodály’s Dances of Galánta. Please note seating availability is quickly becoming limited for this event, which will also receive a television broadcast via 3sat on August 20.

Mr. Bringuier and Ms. Wang previously collaborated on two spectacular Ravel recordings for the Deutsche Grammophon label, including a disc highlighting the composer’s works for piano, and their most recent CD which boasts the entirety of Ravel’s compositions.
