Lionel Bringuier travels to the US this summer to lead the National Symphony Orchestra at Wolf Trap, with pianist Yuja Wang. The concert takes place on July 8 at the Filene Center, with a programme featuring Ms. Wang as soloist on Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major, in addition to the Ravel orchestral arrangement of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. Lionel and Yuja have previously collaborated on two Deutsche Grammophon album releases highlighting works by Ravel, with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich.
