On May 19 & 21, Lionel Bringuier leads the acclaimed Orchestre National de Lyon in performances highlighting some of Gustav Mahler’s most revered works. The concert, hosted at the Orchestre’s Auditorium, features acclaimed baritone Matthias Goerne on Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder. This prolific song cycle illuminates beautiful and sorrowful texts by Friedrich Rückert. Following the Kindertotenlieder, Mr. Bringuier and l’ONL will present Mahler’s epic Symphony No. 1, also known as the “Titan.” Please note there is extremely limited ticket availability for both performances.
