Lionel Bringuier makes his highly anticipated debut in Japan this month with the NHK Symphony Orchestra, in a concert tour throughout the country. The programme features Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35 with violinist Arabella Miho Steinbacher, in addition to Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition (arr. by Ravel). The first performance of the series takes place February 26 at Tokyo’s Geijutsu Gekijo, followed by engagements at the Kagawa Kenmin Hall in Takamatsu on February 28, Bunka Kaikan Hall in Naruto on February 29, and their final concert on March 1 at Kochi’s Prefectural Culture Hall.
