Lionel Bringuier returns to the United States this week and next for performances in Atlanta and Cleveland. His first concerts take place this week with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra April 9, 11, and 12 at the ensemble’s home of Symphony Hall.
Reuniting with pianist Emanuel Ax, the French conductor leads Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 14, bookended by Weber’s Overture to Die Freischütz and Schumann’s Symphony No. 4. Lionel made his debut with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in April 2013, leading works by Dukas, Shostakovich, and Bartók.
