On the 14^th and 15^th June 2012 Lionel will give performances of Brahms’ Fourth Symphony and Double Concerto with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León. The soloists will be renowned string players and siblings Gautier and Renaud Capuçon.

While this performance is the penultimate in Lionel’s tenure as Principal Conductor of the Orchestra, Lionel will be reunited with Renaud Capuçon in August performing Beethoven with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl and next season with Saint-Saëns at the Orchestre Philharmonique du Radio France.

The final concerts of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León season, marking the orchestra’s 20^th anniversary next week, will include Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with soloists Anja Kampe and Reinhard Hagen.
